An up-down scrolling drilling game. The
player will operate an upgradable vehicle and would collects varying minerals and artifacts. After drilling for a certain distance the player will have to resurface in order to refuel, repair, and sell the gathered minerals. The player will sometimes face certain kind of obstacles such as lava, impenetrable rocks, as well as earthquakes. We are also planning on giving the player an ability to upgrade various parts of the vehicle (drill, engine, hull, etc.). The maps
could either be generated procedurally, or loaded through a map file which could be created using a map editor.
