polar-language

Polar is a C-derived, mostly cross-platform, scripting language designed for job scripts, general purpose programming, rich client standalone, and business web application development. Polar is meant to be free, fast, invisible, and consistent, and this is described in more detail in its documentation. Polar, on its own, merely provides support for simple math, logic, control structures, basic OOP, and STDIN, STDOUT, and STDERR. All other functionality is implemented via the linked C libraries and their exposed API. Polar is currently in its planning stage on ironing out a standard through a committee. If your philosophies are congruent with our initial specification, you may apply by short essay and/or examples via email and be considered for the committee to extend the specification to its first form before the language interpreter is designed.
