xmonad_crystal : xmonad :: fvwm-crystal : fvwm
This should explains the intention behind.
Basically It is just some new default keybindings for xmonad and a set of default applications.
This project is now in usable form. You can download/clone the repo and start using it.
IMPORTANT: Its better to clone the repo and use it as the uploaded tar archive is a bit old and lacks some new features. We will post some frozen/stable version soon.
Features
All the features of Xmonad as it is the window manager behind xmonad-crystal.
Efficient key bindings for window movements.
Omnipresent Quake terminal with hiding/showing at a key-press.
Right side pager, tray, clock for efficient use of wide-screeen laptops and netbooks. It looks nice on normal screen as well.
No need to mess your ~/.xsession or ~/.xinitrc as the autostart of applications is provided by shell script called from startuphook of xmonad
