ubudeb-dl is a small command line program for downloading packages for ubuntu operating system from packages.ubuntu.com. packages.ubuntu.com is a website containing all the information about the packages available in ubuntu package archive.
Although the above mentioned website allows user to select the packages and download them, one of the major issues is that user has to download all the dependencies for a particular package individually by visiting the webpages of those dependencies. Dependencies are the packages upon with the application depends. On an average, any application may have more than 30 dependencies and it is a very tedious task to visit all these pages individually.
ubudeb-dl allows the user to download these dependencies all at once. The user only has to specify a few options and ubudeb-dl fetches all the required dependencies along with the specified application package and puts it in a directory on the user’s PC. The directory contains files with
