Developing an Operating System is always considered to be a difficult task since the development environment is difficult to set up. This project provides enthusiastic developers with a base code of nanOS from which we can develop and design our own innovative operating system. The development environment set up is also explained in detail. The target system can be virtual system emulated by vmware or virtual box or a real Pentium machine. The gcc version used for development is old. We can work together to upgrade the compiler, so that users can enjoy building OS using latest gcc.
