Many applications need a calendar or more generally a scheduling component where users can schedule events or appointments. For example, daily appointments, course time tables, doctor-patient-room scheduling, resource scheduling etc. This component provides such a generic component. This component can be customized to the application"s context and specific requirements. ScheduleCanvas is a resueable ActionScript 3.0 / Flex 3.0 calendaring component designed with a simple but powerful Api. It can be customized not only as a calendar but as a general scheduling component to schedule resources and not just time. Two default customizations are available: DailyCalendar and WeeklyTimetable.
