Open FlexSEO is a toolkit to solve Flex-based RIA-website search engine visibility problems.
Project Details
Open FlexSEO approaches dynamic content visibility problem in Flex built RIA websites by installing a small module to the RIA website which enables capturing what the user sees and sending this view (displaylist) back to the server. This data is then stored in a database and Sitemap.xml is generated from the sites (views) of the database. When URLs from the sitemap are requested the server will generate a HTML version of the data and serve it. The HTML generation of the server has currently only simple functionality, but it is developed further with customized HTML templates in mind. This improved functionality will also help with the picture printing problem of flash and helps making mobile versions of RIA websites.
