msmtp-notify monitors msmtp log, and send a notify via
* 1) notify-send (libnotify)
* 2) osd_cat
* 3) osd-wrapper
* 4) root-tail (write to a file)
on log changes.
osd-wrapper is a wrapper as a server for osd_cat command. It accepts inputs via a FIFO. Then via the FIFO all processes in system can send notification to a single osd_cat process.
