ytmp3c - YouTube to MP3 downloader and converter for Linux
Description
This program allows you to download YouTube videos and convert it to mp3 very easy and without quality losses! You have just to type the URL and the program download and convert it all automatic and save the mp3 file on the Desktop or the place where you want. The filename is the same name as the YouTube video name.

MPlayer - the best Multimedia Player i"ve ever seen
lame - open source MP3 de- encoder
Codecs - in case for flv and mp3/mpeg, normally it comes with MPlayer

* selectable output format ogg, wave, ...
* selectable bit rate, at time 128bps
* and of course adding other platforms like metacafe, google-video, ... without time consuming user inputs (detection by URL)
