Think Rails/Grails for desktop app development.
The idea is to allow developers to quickly stand up enterprise style applications that run on the desktop with a rich interface.
Development is done with XML syntax that resembles HTML, which then is parsed into an SWT Desktop object. The platform leverages Hibernate/GORM for Grals/Rails like Model/View/Controller style development.
