This is a set of applications that can be clearly extended by code samples from a developer. Contributed applications must be structured in such a way as to have functionality which is understood by the developer and evaluator be clear which portions of the code sample are actually contributed by the developer in question. Also, each application must have a set of very basic functionality that can be extended in possibly interesting and impressive ways by the developer creating the code sample.
