Problem Statement
Space A Travel is a benefit available to service members, retirees, and their families. A service member can travel for a minimal fee on a DoD aircraft after official personnel and cargo for that aircraft are loaded. (Glossary of Moving Related Terms)
Space A travel is not guaranteed as official personnel and cargo have top priority. These restrictions make Space A travel hard to plan a vacation and often very frustrating from many military families to take advantage of this great benefit.
Our Solution
The Space A Travel System (SATS) is a software system that alleviates some of the frustrations to Service Members, Retirees, and their families that use Space A Travel. SATS allows end users to search for available flights/seats, view the current status of those flights/seats, and make reservations. The system also sends out useful notifications in case flights change or if a reservation is cancelled due to
