If a service running inside a cloud is halted at some point,
it is desirable for its state to be checkpointed and preserved.
Create a structure and a reference system as needed. It is necessary for there to be an indexing system (suitable to a cloud environment) and a retrieval mechanism for such checkpointed state data.
