FAMoS is a monitoring service for gathering information about the distribution of network traffic over the nodes and the applications of a sensor network. It is designed for efficient monitoring of network traffic in many different contexts. Each sensor node locally collects data about the network traffic it handles and periodically transmits its collected data to a back-end server.
