A lightweight yet complete event organizer Applet for the Gnome Desktop written in Mono. It will have the following features:
calendar view
add events for dates/times (optionally recurring)
events overview in calendar and as ordered list
events categories (can be chosen as filter)
simple alarm audiovisual notification, no configuration necessary

None of the existing programs I have found before suited the simple needs I have. They never worked as promised or were way to big for the simple demand I have. So I am writing this little leightweight applet for Gnome from scratch.
