It’s a dark time for Europe. The dark mysterious activities that have started to happen throughout the country have the villagers scared and unsure of who to look to for help. The King has the “people’s safety” in mind but does not have the man power to protect all the small villages throughout the countryside. All guards are in place protecting the major cities leaving the villages in the countryside to fend for themselves.
Small pubs around the area seem lifeless as the people sit around newcomers listening intently at the stories they bring from their travels to the city. Candle lit tables are motionless as the whispering words of missing persons and violent attacks dance through the heads of frightened townsmen.
