Zwiel is a Mesoamerican adventure-themed platformer game created with XNA. It is built on top of the Platformer Starter Kit that comes with the install of XNA Game Studios, and also includes a independently created File Converter for converting plain text level files into the more powerful XML level files. Much of Zwiel can be modified through the XML files included with the download. Moreover, your progress is automatically saved as you progress through the levels. Finally, it has both x-scrolling and y-scrolling, in the legacy of traditional platformers such as Mario.
Zwiel includes: several varieties of enemies, each of whom have different amounts of health and do different amounts of damage to you on contact; gems, which add to your score; traps, which are hazardous in the extreme - some shoot darts at you, others merely warn you away, and one variety constantly rises and falls from
