It runs a cellular automata simulation with a set of rules that can be Conway s game of life but can be changed to run a wide variety of other cellular automata systems as well. It uses OpenGL for graphics, but is not 3D. Possible grid size is limited only by processor power and memory. The user can zoom in until a single cell fills the window, and out until the whole grid is visible
