BEdita is web development framework that comes with a full featured Content Management System out-of-the-box.
BEdita is released under the open-source license GNU Lesser GPL version 3 (LGPL).
The project was started and is currently supported by ChannelWeb srl and Chia Lab srl, two Italian companies based in Bologna.
BEdita has been built upon CakePHP, the well known framework, from which inherits the MVC pattern design.
Moreover, a number of third party libraries and tools have been used, like JQuery, Smarty and so on.
BEdita 3 is a solid software environment, fully compatible and respectful of web standards.
