IMS ( image security ) is a control class for upload systems.We know that, Internet explorer is a dummie and buggy browser.If an attacker creates a file starting with GIF89A and save it as a .jpg file, he/she can execute harmful javascript codes in Internet Explorer.
This class parsing images with GD library, and re-create the image.So if there is any harmful code, deleting by help of GD.
