Welcome to the AudioShout project page!
AudioShout is a free and open source platform that allows you to upload and share audio with your friends, similar to sites such as Soundcloud or Reverbnation. However, unlike these and other sites, the primary focus of AudioShout is on simplicity, ease of use, and, above all, accessibility. Specifically, AudioShout aims to be accessible to visually impaired people using screen reading programs such as JAWS for Windows or VoiceOver for Mac OS X, allowing them to upload and share audio as easy as they would send and receive e-mail or watch a video on YouTube.
The platform is written entirely in PHP and was designed to be ran as a Web application on the Apache Web server<
