WebWriterLE (Light Edition) is a Javascript/HTML4 to PHP/HTML5 porting of the original WebWriter++ created by Michael Bruce-Lockhart and Theodore S. Norvell of the Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN), Canada.
It"s a tool for teachers who want to create simple interactive handouts for their Computer Science courses, expecially when examples in Java or C++ are needed, thanks to the support to the Teaching Machine and to LaTeX syntax for mathematic formulas.
WebWriterLE is a "light edition" of WebWriter++ in the sense that it is written with less code, produces more lightweight pages, but does not replicate all the functionality of the original program.
