I was missing a simple batch renaming feature in MacOS X. A Kickass Renamer will ask for two suffixes, one to look for and one to rename to, and a folder of choice. All files in the given folder will be parsed for the given suffixes. If matching files are found, they can easily be renamed with just one click! Easy as pie.
