BlinzCore is designed to make 2D simulations and games more portable, more versatile, and allows you to better collaborate with other projects. Being a small API it can easily be reimplemented for other with other libraries and for other platforms such as JavaME and Android. In addition to increasing the lifetime and potential portability of your code it offers a way for many unrelated projects to pool their resources and satisfy common goals.
Active BlinzCore development has moved to GitHub, however this will still be used as the central location for BlinzCore resources.
