Annotation
Project deals with design and implementation of hardware and software resources for stabilization and control of orientation of a student microsatellite using Matlab/Simulink enviroment as a development environment. Hardware interface between embedded control computer and flywheel, which forms a system of stabilized reaction wheel is solved. In addition, the project deals with design and implementation of interconnection between control system of a reaction wheel and an inertial measurement unit with Matlab/Simulink enviroment and development of Simulink blocks that represents drivers for used devices. System is designed mainly for study purposes, but further use is not excluded :-).
Project targets
The project wants to demonstrate how cheap and affordable the introduction into space technologies can be. We aim to build:
* Small satellite for teaching support a study purposes
* Test project in microgravity on a zero-g aircraft
* Further use
