By issuing various commands via the CLI one can remotely control a telescope and many of it"s associated features, such as the dome, CCD"s focuser"s, etc. Chimera has already been used to photograph the M25 cluster from the SUNY Oswego campus in Oswego, NY using a telescope in Minas Gerais, Brazil. This summer (summer 2010) Prof. Shashi Kanbur (SUNY Oswego) will be taking several students to Brazil, to work in collaboration with the main developers of Chimera, Prof. Antonio Kanaan (Federal University of Santa Catarina) or (UFSC) and Paulo Henrique Silva. The eventual goal of the project is not only remote control of the observatory, but the ability of the telescope to act autonomously i.e. track certain stars through the sky, take pictures at certain intervals, etc. This site will be used to document the progress of the summer 2010 group as they improve upon/wr
