Around 2004, Jacques Fortier (jfortier-rb AT blergl DOT net) wrote a small python converter (for iTunes -> Rhythmbox) called itunes2rhythm. It converted the entire music library (getting ratings and everything) but I wanted the playlists as well. It seemed the file was abandoned, so I cleaned up the code a bit and added the playlist-grabbing functionality, keeping the name used by its original author. Any improvement is welcome.
