Due to the decline in the interest for fleet managemetn services based on location because of the price of the terminals the objetive of this project is to develop a location terminal using standar phone terminals capable of running python aplications. All the development is based in open source enviroments (the terminal and the server systems) and the whole system could be implemented using free products. The result will be a free system everyone can install and use to keep the fleet controlled. In order to reduce the price because of the low resource requierements also old machines not being used anymore by the employees can hold the system running. Other reason to use like a system could be the terminals used can be obtained from the mobile phone provider using discounts, the instructions for preparing and mounting the terminal will be provided.
