Fundamental is an open source PDF digital library manager - it organizes your PDF documents into an easy to manage and searchable library.
Fundamental uses Qt and Poppler, and thus can run on Linux, Windows, BSD and Mac.
Features:
PDF library, searchable by metadata (title, author, year, etc.);
Built-in PDF reader that maximizes the reading screen estate to be easy on your eyes;
Web searches to import document metadata;
Easy to backup and/or sync your library between machines.
Current status: alpha - the application may be unstable and cause data loss. Use on your own risk.
Instructions for Linux
Download
git clone https://code.google.com/p/fundamental/
Dependencies: Qt4, libpoppler, python.
Compile
cd fundamentalmkdir buildcd buildqmake ../fundamental.pro -r -spec linux-g++make
