This is a simple script written in python that is usefull to make sliders backgrounds for Gnome 2.8++ versions:
usage:
Run in terminal:
python slider-autogen.py {name-of-image-path} {name-of-output-xml-file}
The parameters are optional if you don"t put them, the folder to scan will be the current one and the output file will be background.xml
Then select the output file as wallpaper and you will get it as slider background ...
P/D: New version include a configuration time, so you can control how much minuts display each image.
