Beagletomb is an mplayer client which utilizes a mediatomb server to connect the user to their entire library at the click of a button.
Beagletomb is written in C++/Qt and licensed under the GPLv3. The application allows any user to: browse their audio/video files, play files locally aswell as remotely with mediatomb, create and save playlists, add radio stations, etc. The original function was to provide a simple interface for mplayer, on a beagleboard connected to a television, on a local network. Although Beagletomb was originally intended for use with a beagleboard, it will function on almost any linux platform. Development and installation instructions are provided with the assumption the user is using an Ubuntu platform.
