Host your own SuperTweet.net API proxy - a Java Webapp that provides a means to take advantage of Twitter"s OAuth authentication technology without the cost and complexity of OAuth in your simple tweeting applications.
Users sign in to the webapp using OAuth and then set up Basic Auth credentials (separate from the real Twitter credentials) that can be used with the SuperTweet.net API proxy service. Simply change apps to point to the proxy instead of twitter.com
