C328R Java
The C328R is a small JPEG Compression VGA Camera Module camera. It can do Video and Still Capture.
It has JPEG Compression on-board.
Communication is done via an RS-232 interface. However, it is a 3.3V based signal. To make it friendly in a serial port environment you need some transceiver logic to bump voltage to the 5V range.
There is an evaluation board available (C328-EV232 EV board) which enables the user to communicate with the device from a PC using a standard 9-pin serial cable.
The eval board ships with a sample code snippet written in C and ASM (assembler).
This project uses Java to talk to the device.
