The development of Semantic Web Applications is hard. Meanwhile using Jena, Sesame, or any other Java library to create your first experiments is relatively easy, the next step, building useful Semantic Web Applications is too complex for the average developer. You have to deal with web servers and web-client technologies, and join all this with your application code.
Wiki technologies provide a simple syntax to create the web-client, and some wikis let developers to extend its functionality by means of plugins.
We exploit these plugins to provide developers with a Java library named Fortunata that joins all the best of a concrete wiki (JSPWiki), Jena, and a web server (Apache Tomcat) in order to simplify the creation process of Semantic Web Applications.
I hope you enjoy.
