Identity modeller is an open-source project to develop an AIR based UML modeling tool which can generate (and reverse engineer) AS3 code and asDoc comments, integrated with CRC. It"s about creating a better workflow, smoothing the friction out of the system, making modeling and documentation something we can"t resist doing. Note - better, not perfect. Other projects have crumbled under the weight of trying to over deliver. Our focus is on rapid delivery of usable, useful software, with the capacity to add whistles and bells later. Amongst those whistles and bells will be parsers and lexers for other OO languages, and we"re building with PHP5/6, AS4, Java and AS2 all in mind. If you"re an AS3 developer or interface designer and you"re interested in getting involved then please speak up - no contribution is too small!
