Protobuf compiler that supports an additional gwt_out mode that generates protobuf Java class definitions similar to those generated using the original “native” Java mode, but that can be compiled using the GWT compiler and reused both on the client and the server side. For performance reasons, the “native” binary protobuf encoding is replaced with serialization to and from JSON.
