Description
This application adds support for ECRIT (Emergency Context Resolution with Internet Technologies) calling to your Android phone. That is, the application extends the native (circuit switched) emergency calling capabilities of your Android phone to allow you to discover and contact emergency services over IP.
A background service will discover IP-reachable emergency services using the LoST protocol and maintain a table of (1) emergency numbers (like 911 or 112) and (2) URIs that can be used to contact the services at those numbers. Then, whenever you dial one of the emergency services it has discovered, it will present you with a list of ways that you can call for help over IP.
