nobleNote is a simple cross-platform (Linux, Windows, Mac, Android,
webbrowser) note taking application. nobleNote aims to be a lightweight, open source alternative to Evernote and OneNote. It has been designed for easy and robust note synchronization across desktop and mobile platforms.
nobleNote supports rich text editing. Notes are stored in the html format and can be viewed with any webbrowser.
It does not contain a build-in synchronization functionality but has been designed to be used with cloud-based-synchronization software (Dropbox etc.) that can be easily set up to sync the nobleNote folder across different platforms. nobleNote will automatically detect if notes have been changed by the cloud-sync software and keep the user interface up to date.
