Years before, when I was an openSuSE freebie, I always "mis-chatted" some stuff on Pidgin. It was so much annoying. @thruth told me his G1 just can"t stop vibrating for even a second midnight when he is sleeping his girl. And for me, I always can"t get replied immediately to solve my freebie problem.
It might be Google"s fault, "coz it didn"t launch an official linux gtalk client, which, as it said, can display a Robot icon showing you"re on android phone so maybe unavailable.
So an amazing idea flashed in my mind, why not just add this feature to Pidgin?
I know Pidgin already has this feature called "getinfo", but you have to right click, left click "getinfo", wait for the jump window, wait for the query, then decide to chat or not. My patch do not even require a click!
It is just a patch can display a device (like android) or client (gtalk, pidgin and etc.) icon before user avatar on main window. So now
